Travel Tips and Helpful Information

A: Yes, each of our 3 pools contain 100% natural geothermal water. We vary the temperatures in our large outdoor pool between 92-96°F depending upon the season, our outdoor jetted hot tub at 103°F, and our indoor jetted pool at 100°F. Sitting over an underground geothermal aquifer, we are able to use our wells to pump nature's gift into our pools.
A: Our pools are open 8 am to 10 pm daily (except NY Eve when they remain open until midnight). Children under the age of 4 years are not permitted in our pools or inside our gated pool area. Children over 4 years are permitted in 2 pools, the large outdoor pool and the indoor pool when accompanied by an adult. Our pools are considered "soaking" pools for relaxation, therefore, jumping, splashing, diving, Marco Polo games and noodle fights are not permitted. Our guests are here to relax, enjoy the company of friends and socialize. Noodles are provided at the pool for use during your stay.
A: Yes, all of our mud baths are filled with the natural geothermal water as well as local volcanic ash and natural peat. Please review our spa section which provides greater detail about spa specifics.
A: At the time the reservation is made, the first night room and tax is fully paid to secure the reservation. If the reservation is cancelled prior to 3 days of arrival, a full refund less $25 is refunded. If the reservation is cancelled less 3 days of arrival, no refund is provided for the first night room and tax. Reservations that involve packages have a 5 day $50 cancellation policy. Room block groups have a 30 day cancellation policy, and reservations booked through one of the online travel agencies have a cancellation policy of 72 hours less $46, and no refund if cancelled inside of 72 hours of arrival.
A: We ask that guests keep their pets at home or with a sitter.
Service Dogs are allowed with proper identification upon check-in.

A: PG&E will advise their customers in the region when a Public Safety Power Shutoff or PSPS is issued. During a power outage or PSPs event we will contact our guests to notify them of the event. During a power outage or PSPs event, power will not be available to our pools, spa, lights, A/C or heat. We do provide guests with lanterns if they are in-house.
During a PSPS outage event guests who cancel their stay will receive a prompt return of their advanced deposit. If a guest chooses to stay at the property during the PSPS or any outage we will not issue discounts or refunds. We will allow room stays to be rebooked at the current or best room rate available. A: Although we do not offer breakfast at the resort, there are several delightful restaurants within walking distance.
A: Calistoga Shuttle is an on-demand transit service available complimentary for Calistoga hotel guests. No advanced reservations are required. The comfortably heated and air conditioned shuttles are wheelchair accessible. Our front desk associates will provide the required transit ticket upon request as well as shuttle routes and time of operation.
